Draymond Green got some good news today as he prepares for the Summer Olympics. His misdemeanor assault and battery charge is being reduced to a noise violation.
This is treated the same as a typical parking ticket, meaning Green won’t have this incident on his record and will only have to pay a fine.
Green will have to pay a $560 fine for his altercation with former Michigan State football player Jermaine Edmondson on July 10 in East Lansing, Michigan.
Derrick Rose also made headlines today with his implication that the New York Knicks are a super team in the same category as the Golden State Warriors.
Although he didn’t specifically say that he believed the Knicks were a super team, he alluded to the fact that other people around him have referred to the Knicks as a super team.
Rose was clearly confident enough in the assertion to say it out loud, and might be too biased to realize how ridiculous that claim is.
