Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry had so many jaw dropping plays. Although the Chris Paul ankle breaker didn’t make it, Curry’s crossovers between the quadruple (practically entire Clippers defense) allowed him just enough space to step back and sink a three. Sounds like a lot of his plays right? This one was extra sweet coming against their rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers. This was the type of shot that had Steve Kerr in disbelief.
This one is up for votes in tournament style. If Curry doesn’t tally enough votes, he’ll lose to Malcolm Butler’s interception when the Seattle Seahawks SHOULD’VE ran with Marshawn Lynch.
UPDATE:
Curry has been eliminated and lost by 1%. Butler moved on with a 51%-49% win.
This will come down between Stephen Curry and LeBron James. The other guys were great but they’re not there yet. Let’s give credit where it’s due, LeBron James is a one man wrecking crew. Without Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, he kept it competitive for a bit.
Stephen Curry is just as potent. His ability to shoot from anywhere is broadened when he can cross his opponents to gain some space. That inch of space allows Curry to let off his lightning fast release which usually finishes with “Splash.”
Like we’ve mentioned with the top two NBA players, they were also nominated for the Top Male Athlete. The competition is stiff with Aaron Rodgers and J.J. Watt joining the field. All are beloved by their fans and keep a clean reputation. This is a toss-up but with the Dubs fan base, we can never count any Warrior out.
