The Warriors have been winning a lot of games this season, but turnovers were a problem early on. Now, it was expected. With Steve Kerr coming in to coach this squad, he was brining in a new offense and the players had to learn a new system. Kerr emphasized moving the ball and the Warriors were not used to it at the beginning.
In yesterday’s game against the Bulls, the Warriors only committed 11 turnovers, which is dramatically lower than what they were averaging early in the season.
The Warriors beat one of the best teams in the East and they did so on their home floor. The Warriors continue to impress and last night’s win against the Bulls just continues to give this team more confidence. The scary part is that the Warriors are only getting better everyday, so this version of this team should be better come playoff time.
Turnovers are debilitating and if they are able to keep taking care of the ball, they are tough to stop. The game everyone should be anxious about is their February 20th game against the San Antonio Spurs, they both play similar styles of basketball, but the Spurs have more experience. Warriors fans are excited about this team and deservingly so, this team is primed to make a deep post-season run.
