The Golden State Warriors are 20-0 and their dominance has really quieted the critics. With each game, history is made and the true Warriors fans are loving every minute of it. The leader, Stephen Curry has been phenomenal and his game has really elevated this season.
Before every game, Steph warms up with his signature two ball dribbling drills. At home games, he shoots from the tunnel after getting a pass from the arena’s employee. Since Steph warms up so early, only a few see the entire Curry warmup. According to Ben Cohen of the Wall Street Journal, the Warriors may open doors even earlier to give fans the whole Steph experience:
That is why Oracle Arena in Oakland may soon switch up its game-day operations to account for the pre-game action. For years, the doors there have unlocked for fans 90 minutes before the game—or right when Curry warms up. Now the team is thinking about opening the arena a half-hour earlier and showing Curry on the scoreboard, said Brandon Schneider, the Warriors’ senior vice president of business development.
When you have a player as great as Steph, you want to let the true fans experiencing and see it all. The biggest concern is that this my become a distraction for the team. Fortunately, following the NBA championship, the team was able to unwind and celebrate without missing a beat in the regular season.
