The Golden State Warriors are on their way to the NBA Finals. The Warriors took care of business at home and beat the Houston Rockets 104-90. Steph Curry had a great night, he finished with 26 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. While the spotlight was on Stephen Curry and his return, it took more than one player to get this far.

The journey to this point was accumulated from a bunch of smaller roles. Klay came up big in the third quarter but Kerr was much more impressed with another player’s contributions. According to CBS Sports NBA, Kerr was extremely happy with Andre Iguodala’s six point performance:
Steve Kerr: “Andre Iguodala might have had the greatest six-point game I’ve ever seen in my life.”

When you score six points in a game, you usually do not draw a lot of praise, but Kerr was very impressed with Iguodala’s defensive effort. The stats don’t show the whole story, Iguodala’s leadership and ability to guard James Harden were necessary for the Warriors to win this game.
The Warriors are going to need similar performances in order to win the NBA Finals. It does not get any easier moving forward. The Warriors took care of Harden, now they have to worry about the best player on the planet, LeBron James.
