Instant Recap: Warriors Cool Off The Heat 114-97
This game could have easily been their third loss of the season, but Curry willed his team to victory. He scored 22 points in the second half and his coach continues to rain his point guard with compliments, according to Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle:
Kerr said it’s too early for mvp talk, “but I know I wouldn’t trade Steph for any other point guard in the world.”

Steve Kerr keeps gushing about Curry being the best point guard in the NBA, can you blame him? Curry is having an incredible start to the season and Kerr is positive he’s the best point guard in the NBA. Strong words from his head coach, which only shows Kerr’s confidence in Curry’s abilities.
The Warriors are 13 games in, so there is still a lot of basketball yet to be played. However, there is no doubt Curry is currently one of the best players in the league. The Warriors have one of the best records in the NBA and Curry has some impressive numbers. If they can maintain this consistency, Curry will not only be in the conversation for the MVP award, he’ll probably be the favorite.
