Don’t forget there’s another Curry in the league. Double the trouble, Seth Curry earned a two year deal with the Sacramento Kings after a brilliant showing in the Summer League. Seth is proving that he belongs in the NBA and can uphold the Curry name.
On The Dan Patrick Show, Steph tells the radio host that he’s okay with dropping 50 points on his younger brother to welcome him into the league:
In the 2013 NBA Draft, Seth went undrafted after three years at Duke. He signed with the Warriors but was waived before the season. Following that initial introduction to the NBA, he would fall back to the D-League and get called up by the Memphis Grizzlies, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Phoenix Suns. During the Summer League, Seth averaged 24.3 points per game and the Kings couldn’t pass up on the guard.
The first time the two brothers will face each other will be on November 7, 2015 in Sacramento. Steph imagines a few one-on-one scenarios and has no problems embarrassing his sibling. In the regular season, Steph averaged nearly 24 points and dropped over 40 points twice. A ton of trash talk will follow if he pulls off the feat. Don’t forget, Seth can come out firing too. In that case, it should be fun to watch the brothers compete at the highest level.
