NBA: Golden State Warriors at Charlotte Hornets

While the Warriors got the victory, they got quite a scare in the second half. Curry was guarding Brandon Jennings and while in pursuit, he rolled his ankle and immediately checked out of the game.

It doesn’t look too bad, but Curry has had an unfortunate history with ankle injuries. Curry would come back into the game, but his minutes were limited. Curry finished with 16 points and 10 assists in 28 minutes. After the game, the Warriors has some X-rays done on Curry’s ankle and they received some good news according to Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group.

No other details have been released, but looks like the Warriors are not too concerned. Curry and ankle injuries are a scary thought, but Steve Kerr and Curry feel the injury is not serious according to Diamond Leung:

At the very least, Curry and the Warriors get to go home after the five game road trip. The Warriors host the Orlando Magic on Tuesday at Oracle Arena, so Curry won’t have much time to rest his ankle.
