The Warriors are back at Oracle Arena tonight to face the Orlando Magic. They actually visited the Magic on their five game road trip and beat them convincingly 111-96. The Warriors were a perfect 5-0 on that road trip, but they did get dinged up in the process.

In their last game against the Detroit Pistons, Steph Curry tweaked/rolled his ankle in the second half of the game. The Warriors had a sizable lead at that point, so it did not effect the outcome of the game, but anytime Curry suffers an ankle injury it’s a scary situation. According to Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle, not only is Curry listed as questionable for tonight’s game, but his fellow Splash Brother joins him with a quad contusion:
Klay Thompson (right quad contusion) joins Steph Curry (ankle) on the questionable list for tonight.

Before this announcement, there was no indication Thompson was dealing with any injuries, so this comes as quite a surprise. The Warriors have played great team basketball this season and they are capable of winning games without the Curry and Thompson going off, but not having both in one game? That’s something the Warriors have not experienced this season. While they are listed as questionable, I don’t expect both of them to sit out tonight. Their minutes might be limited, but they should see the floor, especially if they find themselves in a competitive game. Rusty Simmons noticed they both were active during practice:
Both Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are wearing their starter blue jerseys and getting up extra shots after shootaround.

The Warriors might only need one Splash Brother tonight. If I were a betting man, I think Curry sits and Thompson starts.
