The Warriors took care of business against the Pelicans in Game 4 of their opening round series. Now, they get to go back home to the Bay Area and await the winner of the Memphis Grizzlies and the Portland Trail Blazers. In the mean time, the Warriors will get some much needed rest as they prepare for the Western Conference Semi-Finals.
Steph Curry and company are not the only Warriors playing for a championship. The Santa Cruz Warriors played against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants for the D-League Championship and they were victorious, beating the Mad Ants 109-96.
Congratulations to the @DLeagueWarriors for winning the D-League Championship today! Couldn’t be prouder of you guys! #DubsFam

This is the first D-League title for the Santa Cruz Warriors and it won’t be the last. Although this won’t make front page news, it does signify how far the Warriors have come as an organization. It’s important to have a strong D-League affiliate and the Warriors understand that more than most.
Draymond Green and Klay Thompson were both in attendance. Thompson was able to see his brother Mychel Thompson win the championship and surely he is very proud of his brother. Now, he has to try and match his brother by winning a title of his own.
