The Warriors play the Utah Jazz on Friday at Oracle Arena and the Dubs will be well rested. Their last game was on Sunday, they put 136 against the Lakers in Los Angeles and brought home their eight win of the season. The Lakers simply couldn’t keep up with the Warriors, losing the game by 21 despite Kobe Bryant scoring 44 points.

After two losses to the Warriors by a combined 44 points, Bryant has had a lot of praise for the Warriors. He’s already spoken highly of Klay Thompson and according to Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group, Bryant believes the Warriors will contend for the Western Conference title:
Can the Warriors contend for the West? Kobe Bryant: “For sure.”

Bryant and the Lakers are having a terrible season and despite the ample amount of frustration over their losses, he appreciates playing against a team as good as the Warriors. The Warriors entered the season with hopes to contend for the Western Conference, but they had a lot of questions as they entered the season. A rookie head coach and injuries were some concerns the Warriors had coming in, but after 10 games, one thing is clear, they will be in play for the Western Conference title this season.
Bryant is simply giving credit where it is due. He’s had an opportunity to play the Warriors twice in the regular season and two more times in the pre-season. That’s enough for a player of Kobe’s caliber to know that the Warriors could find themselves playing for the Larry O’Brien trophy in June.
