The Golden State Warriors are having a great week. They got to play at home three times and they came away with victories in each of those contests. The Warriors still hold the best record in the NBA and they finally got their big man Andrew Bogut back after a long absence.
Klay Thompson has been a pivotal part of their success this season and this week was no different. He averaged 27.7 points and shot 50 percent from long distance. For his effort this week, the NBA has named him the Western Conference Player of the Week.

This is the second time Thompson is awarded this honor and it won’t be his last. This is his fourth year in the NBA and Thompson is making the jump from a good shooting guars to one of the best in the league. He will not get voted in as an All-Star, but he deserves to be selected as a reserve.
Before the start of the season, the Splash Brothers were in consideration for “Best Backcourt in the NBA”, but at this point of the season, it is clear that Thompson and Curry are cream of the crop. They keep racking up wins and awards.
