The Golden State Warriors had one draft pick last year and they used it on UCLA forward, Kevon Looney. Looney was a seen as a value pick (taken with the 30th pick) and was regarded as a lottery pick before the injury.
Today, the Warriors have assigned the forward to their Development League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors. Up to this point, Looney has missed the entire season while recovering from hip surgery to repair a torn labrum.
The Santa Cruz Warriors are currently 10-10. The roster includes former NBA players, Ronnie Brewer, Xavier Henry, Daniel Orton, and many more players trying to earn a roster spot with an NBA team.
