Klay Thompson has been the biggest question mark heading into the NBA Finals. After receiving a knee to the head in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals, Thompson was diagnosed with a concussion after some initial confusion. Thompson will need to clear all the concussion test before he is allowed to go back on the court.

Harrison Barnes said Thompson should be ready to play when the Finals start on Thursday and now his coach has echoed those sentiments. According to Ethan Sherwood Strauss of ESPN, Steve Kerr is expecting Thompson to be in the lineup in Game 1:
Asked if he is preparing for Thompson’s absence, Kerr said he was planning only for Thompson to be in the lineup. Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers is Thursday.
The Warriors are going to need Thompson in order to win this series. Klay can have an impact on both ends of the floor and without him it will be difficult to get a win against LeBron and the Cavs. Thompson will have a few more days to rest and completely recover from his concussion, don’t be surprised if he’s cleared in the next couple of days.
The Cavs are not completely healthy either. Kyrie Irving is banged up and has been battling knee tendinitis and they are obviously without Kevin Love.
The Warriors are the better team and they have to come out and show it in Game 1 to set the tone.
