The Warriors salvaged a two game road trip by beating the Houston Rockets 131-106 last night. They used a strong second half performance to pull away from the Rockets and earn another impressive victory against a Western Conference foe.
The Warriors lost the game against the Thunder, but they were without Andre Iguodala and Andrew Bogut. Kerr gave them the night off in anticipation of multiple games in a short amount of time. That could continue to be the case moving forward and the Warriors just added another player to give them another body off the bench. According to Marcus Spears of Yahoo Sports, the Warriors have signed James Michael McAdoo to a 10-day contract:

“(McAdoo) ultimately chose Golden State because of their initial investment in his development and career,” his agent Jim Tanner said.

McAdoo played for the Warriors during the Las Vegas Summer League and the North Carolina Tar Heel played well, but only Justin Holiday was retained by the Warriors. McAdoo has been playing for the Santa Cruz Warriors and his numbers have been impressive. He’s averaging 17.6 points and 9.3 rebounds in 22 games with Santa Cruz.
McAdoo had to choose between the Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies, but opted to sign with the Warriors because of their investment in his development. McAdoo will have a hard time getting minutes, but the same was said for Holiday and look at him now.
