It was announced on Wednesday that Golden State Warriors star forward Draymond Green was placed on the NBA All-Defensive First Team. He is joined by San Antonio Spurs superstar Kawhi Leonard, who was a unanimous selection, Avery Bradley of the Boston Celtics, and a pair of Los Angeles Clippers in DeAndre Jordan, and all-defense stalwart Chris Paul.
This is the first time in Warriors history that a player has been placed on back to back first team all-defense lists.

Green had impressive all around stats for the season, averaging 14 points, 9.5 rebounds, 7.4 assists, as well as 1.47 steals, and 1.40 blocks. His versatility was the focal point on the defensive side of the ball as he was able to guard any position while remaining a lockdown defender. Green was also runner-up for the Defensive Player of the Year for a 2nd straight time, but, the award again went to Kawhi Leonard.
Here are some highlights from Green’s fantastic season.
