The Golden State Warriors have been great although they have had to deal with multiple injuries to their key players. The Warriors are 22-3 and are primed for a deep playoff run. Without Andrew Bogut and Lee, the Warriors were forced to rely on Draymond Green, Festus Ezeli, and Marreese Speights. The 31 year old will look to strengthen the team’s front court depth. David Lee had reinjured his hamstring in his first game back and is nearing his second return.
According to Jimmy Durkin of the San Jose Mercury News/Bay Area News Lee’s hamstring is finally coming around:
#Warriors PF David Lee said his hamstring feels great and if he wakes up feeling the same tomorrow he expects to play against Sacramento.

In addition, the Warriors will look to ease Lee back in to avoid over straining the injury. Durkin also quoted Coach Kerr’s thoughts on Lee’s playing time:
#Warriors coach Steve Kerr expects Lee to play about 12-15 minutes against Sacramento.

In Lee’s only appearance, he put up 6 points in seven minutes against the Los Angeles Clippers. This is the 10th season for the Lee in the league and 5th with the Warriors. Last season, Lee participated in 69 games and averaged 18.2 points and 9.3 rebounds in 33 minutes.
