There is no doubt that the Warriors are the best team in the NBA. At 38-7, they own the league’s best record and quite frankly, this team can get much better, which is the main concern for the opposition.
With all the wins and accolades, the Warriors have become the best show in arguably all of sports. They have become the Beatles of the NBA; everywhere they go, the fans follow. For 29 other teams, when the Warriors come to visit, it usually means it’s going to be a sold out crowd. Who wouldn’t want to watch a team with four potential All-Stars play on the same team?
In the last couple of years, the Warriors and Stephen Curry have had some of the best selling merchandise in the NBA and this year is no different. Curry has the NBA’s most popular jersey and the Warriors are the atop of the Team Merchandise list.
Curry is the reigning back-to-back MVP, so it make sense that people all over the country and the world are buying his jersey. He sure has come a long way since his days at Davidson. Now, all the kids in the playground want to shoot like Curry, dribble like Curry, and dress like Curry.
The Warriors also have Kevin Durant, who comes in third on the list and Klay Thompson is like his jersey number, 11th. There are a lot of people outside the Bay Area rocking Warriors gear and the organization has to love it. The Warriors are becoming a brand that is associated with winning and that’s the goal every franchise is trying to achieve.
