The NBA has awarded the Most Valuable Player Award to the league’s top player since the 1955-56 season. Last year, Stephen Curry earned the award and became the first Warrior since Wilt Chamberlain to hold the title.
The 2015-16 NBA season, is more of the same. Curry has earned the award again and became the first player to win the award in consecutive years for the Warriors organization. Steph created another mark in history, he became the first player to win the award unanimously; the entire voting panel chose Curry as the top player.

His return came in the nick of time. Curry exercised his dominance in his Game 4 return. After missing a few weeks, he slowly got going and led the Warriors to an overtime win in Portland. Of his 40 points, Curry scored 10 in the fourth quarter and 17 in the extra five minute period.
Curry joins Magic Johnson and Steve Nash as the only point guards to win the award multiple times. The 1999-00 MVP, Shaquille O’Neal missed out on being the first unanimous MVP by one vote.
