The Golden State Warriors are currently in the middle of a tough matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies in the Western Conference Semi-Finals. The series is tied at 2-2, but the pivotal Game 5 will take place at Oracle Arena, so hopefully they can take care of business.

While the Warriors have their eyes on the prize, some are already thinking about next season. Today, images of next year’s Christmas NBA jerseys have been leaked. Paul Lukas of Uni Watch was the one who unveiled the uniforms for next season and he describes the purpose of the design:
The script chest insignia are meant to evoke the feel of the fancy script on a Christmas card. I think most of them are pretty nice on their own, although the repeated template waters down the visual effect a bit. I’m not sure why they chose to have the scripts running uphill with the uni numbers offset to one side, but I like it — reminds me of the Cavs’ uniforms from the first LeBron era.
These are much better than the ones the NBA released this past Christmas. One thing you notice right away is the script on the front of the jersey. The goal of that particular script is to resemble a fancy script on a Christmas card and you do get that feeling when looking at these jerseys.
The Warriors will be rocking a blue jersey with cream all sprinkled all around. The shorts is where you can see some of the Warrior logo. The best part of all this is that Adidas finally got rid of the sleeves, which is the best decision they’ve ever made.
