The Warriors and New Jersey Nets are talking about a deal which would send Vince Carter to the Warriors. The Warriors have offered 6th man Corey Maggette as the centerpiece in the deal along with swapping first round picks this year. The hold up at this point seems to be who else the Warriors would send to the Net along with the Nets wanting the Warriors to take back Keyon Dooling as well.

Looks like the Nets got the expiring contracts they were looking for, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports is reporting that
" The New Jersey Nets are in advanced discussions to send Vince Carter to the Orlando Magic for Rafer Alston ,Tony Battie and Courtney Lee, a source with knowledge of the negotiations told Yahoo! Sports.
If the Nets move Carter, they will draft Louisville shooting guard Terrence Willams at No. 11, if he’s still available.
The source categorgized the deal as “close” and it could be consummated by the end of the night"
