Steph Curry is one of the best shooters in the game today and arguably of all time. With the ball in his hands, he is a threat to score from anywhere on the floor and can even penetrate the paint with some crafty footwork. Dunking the ball has not been one of Curry’s strengths throughout his career and we rarely see the 6-foot-3 shooting guard attack the rim and finish with a thunderous slam.
Curry decided to treat the fans at the Thomas and Mack Center with some impressive dunks during warm-ups and showed he’s capable of keeping up with the other high flyers on Team USA. Curry would lob the ball to himself and finish with a nice slam. However, Kenneth Faried decided he wanted to join dunking party and threw down a between the legs dunk. The Denver Nuggets power forward is 6-foot-8 and consistently adds to his highlight reel with incredible dunks. After Faried’s dunk, Curry thinks about doing the same, but chooses to shoot the jumper and of course he made it. Curry can dunk, but not at Faried’s level. Curry doesn’t need to dunk to help his team win, but it is nice to see him finish around the rim with authority.
