NBA: Oklahoma City Thunder at Golden State Warriors

1. Stephen Curry

If Baron Davis put the Warriors on the NBA map, Stephen Curry put them on the world map. He was recently announced the leading vote getter for the NBA All-Star game. He beat out LeBron James. Curry is gaining popularity in the NBA and is slowly becoming the poster boy of the league.

He is considered the best shooter in NBA history by many, and is just barely entering his prime now. Other than a few lapses on the defensive side of the ball, there is not much Curry does wrong. He can penetrate and attack the basket as well as anyone in the league, he has one of the deadliest handles the NBA has seen, his shooting range is unlimited, he rebounds well for a point guard, and he does it all while making others around him better.

Curry has already led the way for the Warriors by taking them to the playoffs back-to-back seasons. He also scored 54 points in Madison Square Garden earlier in his career with the Warriors. He has currently led the team to their best start in franchise history.

Curry is not the ordinary shoot-first point guard that fails to get his teammates involved. He can do both equally as good. He knows when to take over a game and when to get other players their shots. He is a part of the best shooting backcourt in NBA history, alongside Klay Thompson. It took Curry 369 games to make 1,000 three pointers, quicker than anyone has before.

He is the leading MVP candidate in the first half of the 2014-15 season and is leading the Warriors to heights they haven’t seen in ages. Dub Nation has something to be proud of right now as they are witnessing the best point guard in Warriors history today.

all good guards, but we need better backup guards for 2015. Why not steal Langston Galloway or sign Delonte West?
