2. Andre Iguodala
The savvy veteran showed no signs of age in the 2015 NBA Finals are he was able to hold the best player in the world to less than 40 percent shooting from the field. LeBron James put up big stats, but that was partly due to him being one of the few offensive threats on his team at the time.
Iguodala played good defense all season long, but he took his game up to a whole new level during the playoffs. There were concerns early in the season that he wasn’t worth his contract and there were even fans calling for him to be traded.
After winning Finals MVP and putting on one hell of a performance, those talks all came to an end.
Iguodala is long, quick, and athletic. He might not be as fast as he once was, but he’s smarter now than before in his career. He is who the younger players look up to on the defensive side of the ball and is still one of the best perimeter defenders in the league today.
