2. Three Point Shooting/Scoring
Simply put, the Warriors can shoot the lights out. They currently lead the NBA in scoring, averaging 109.5 points per contest. There are led by the Splash Brothers, who combine for 53 points per game. Thompson is hitting half of his three point shots and is averaging 3.3 made shots from beyond the arc. Curry on the other hand has started the season off a bit cold. He currently is knocking down 2.5 per game, but is attempting 7.5 total three point shots. Expect Curry to get back on track sooner rather than later, hopefully it starts Saturday against the Rockets.

The Warriors are second in the league in assists, so they’ve done a good job of distributing the basketball. Draymond Green, who is not known for his three point shooting has been great offensively so far. He is averaging 12.5 points and 1.8 three points shots per game. Like Thompson, Green is hitting half of his threes.
The Rockets don’t have better shooters than the Splash Brothers, but they have a bigger group of guys who can hit from long distance. Ariza has developed into one of the better three point shooters in the NBA, he averages 3.7 made three pointers on only 6.7 attempts. James Harden, Jason Terry, and Beverly are all hitting around 2.3 three point shots per game, so as a collective unit they are deadly from three point land. The Rockets are fifth in the NBA in overall scoring, so they can keep up with the Warriors offensively.
