The internet was set ablaze last week after official images of Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry’s new shoes were released. To say that the response was negative would be a woeful understatement.
The twitter-verse had a field day at the back-to-back MVP’s expense.

But, Stephen Curry took the criticism of his new kicks in stride as he was asked about them after the Warriors game 4 win.
The Warriors superstar was also spotted rocking the sneakers during a team practice before a crucial game 5 Monday night, proving Curry wasn’t merely providing lip service at the press conference.

Its rare you see a league superstar display a sense of humor with something like this and be able to have a little fun with it. Curry is clearly having a good time as he made sure to brand his shoes in case anyone was unsure of how good they really are.

All eyes will be on Steph to see if he comes out in game 5 rocking the new kicks. Curry looks to lead the Warriors to their first title victory on their home court.
Game 5 takes place at Oracle Arena at 6 PM PT on Monday night.
