Reggie Miller was once a special player. During his playing days, Miller was a great three point shooter and arguably one of the best of all time. On top of his scoring ability, he has a habit of talking trash. Luckily his play allowed him to back it up.

Entering tonight’s game, Steph Curry just needed one three point make to tie Miller’s record of 58 made threes in a postseason. Curry had made 57 through 12 games. With the Warriors’ strong play this record was meant to be broken, but Curry will completely demolish the mark.

Today, Curry tied the record in the first three minutes of the game and hit one from way back to officially have 59 three pointers and the sole leader of the playoff three point record:

Curry now officially holds the record for most three pointers made in a single postseason. He now has 59 and will likely add to the mark as this series continues and hopefully in the NBA Finals as well.

When asked about this record, Curry didn’t pay much attention to it. Instead, Curry wants to break the mark set by Danny Green for most three pointers in the NBA Finals. If the Warriors get a win tonight, his goal of attempting to break Green’s record could become a reality.
