I arrived in New Orleans Friday morning at around 9:00 AM and haven’t slept but an hour on my red eye flight. This is New Orleans, All-Star Weekend and I’m only 22. I can’t get tired. Not this weekend.
In a weekend where the Warriors will be participating in four events, the potential to see multiple winners is there. On Friday, Harrison Barnes participated in the Rising Stars Challenge, and despite a 1/7 first half finished with 14 points, three assists and two rebounds. He’ll join his teammate Stephen Curry in the Saturday festivities.
Friday was a day of hopping from events to event, long taxi rides, droves of media, one excellent Po’boy, a mediocre Rising Stars Challenge and later tonight, Bourbon Street.
Leaving SFO.
Po’boy.
Curry is everywhere.

CP3 and his mean mugging son.
A smiling Blake.
Oakland’s own Damian Lillard.
Parks & Recreation star Roy Hibbert.
The pride and joy of Fresno State, Paul George.
Remember him?
Will he or won’t he leave New York?
King.
Bosh being Bosh.
Wade said he’s playing on Sunday.
I was lucky enough to participate in a Google Hangout brought to us by Stephen Curry, Under Armour and Finish Line. Curry signed autographs, answered questions from fans and bloggers and also competed in a three-point competition with some lucky contest winners. All of the festivities took place live on Google Hangout, and I was brought in to answer some Warriors related questions as apart of WarriorsWorld. Thanks to Nick Engvall, Under Armour and Finish Line for the opportunity.
Here’s the entire show (I come in at around the 20 minute mark):
We Made It.
Tim Hardaway Jr. vs. Dion Waiters was fun.
J.R. Smith would be proud.
Not a bad endorsement.
