This is a conservative approach compared to All-Star jerseys in the past. Adidas and the NBA kept it simple this year, which might be appealing to some fans. The jerseys do have some aspects that honor the New York/Brooklyn area. On the side of the jersey you will see five stars that represent New York City’s five boroughs.
Also, the warm-up jackets the players will be wearing will have patches on the sleeve, which will represent their accomplishments in the NBA. The back of the warm-up jacket will feature military-style star patches that honor the number of All-Star appearances for each individual player.
