When you purchase a lottery ticket, you begin to imagine the possibilities. A new car, paying off the bills, or even purchasing some wild materialistic items. Well the reality is, one lucky fan from Oakley now has the money to spend on anything his heart desires.
According to Katrina Cameron of the Bay Area News Group, the winner is planning to spend some of his winnings in a fun way:
Lottery winner Anthony Fazzini plans on spending some of his winnings on Golden State Warriors playoff tickets, California Lottery officials announced Tuesday.
Maybe Fazzini’s luck will wear off on the Warriors, as the Oakley resident is $672,000 richer after matching five numbers in the March 31 Mega Millions drawing.
The Warriors will need all the luck they can get while riding an unusual two game losing streak. Although the Warriors have already clinched the first seed in the West, their first round opponent has yet to be determined. In a tight battle for 8th, the Oklahoma City Thunder and the New Orleans Pelicans are virtually tied.
With that type of money, we can expect Fazzini to grab some great seats at the Oracle. In case you haven’t heard, the Warriors postseason tickets go on sale tomorrow for season ticket holders and wait list members. You won’t want to miss a playoff game in one the most exciting arenas of all of sports.
