The Warriors have two of the best shooters in the NBA and arguably the best shooting backcourt the game has seen in some time. Steph Curry will display his shooting talents in New York/Brooklyn when he represents the West in the All-Star Game. His fellow Splash Brother is in the running to be selected, but it’s not guaranteed he will get voted in.

Thompson can still be selected as a reserve and he has the numbers to justify his place on the team. However, Thompson also wants to partake in all of All-Star Weekend. According to Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group, Thompson would like to participate in the three point shoot-out:
Klay Thompson on wanting to do the Three-Point Shootout: “That’d be a lot of fun because every year I’ve sat home watching it.”

Thompson has not had an opportunity to appear in the three point shootout and he deserves it. He is one of the best shooters in the league and one of the better two guards as well. The Warriors have the best record in the league and he’s a big reason for that success.
Hopefully Klay will be playing on Saturday and Sunday this All-Star Weekend.
