Klay Thompson Pranks Fan Using Steph Curry

Klay Thompson is having the time of his life. He’s got the Warriors off to an 3-0 start and is averaging 29.7 points per game. He’s added a gold medal to his trophy case, just got paid around $70 million and is dating Hannah Stocking. Life is good.

Thompson’s play this season will propel him to one of the most recognizable players in the NBA, but he still has a way to go. So it is understandable if not everyone recognizes him.

While visiting Chipotle, Thompson was met by a few fans looking to take a picture with the up and coming star. However, one particular fan did not really know who he was. They saw the commotion around Thompson and knew he was a member of the Warriors, but they didn’t realize he was one of the Splash Brothers.

They asked Thompson for his name, so they could probably tag him on social media and make all of their followers jealous. Thompson, probably surprised he wasn’t recognized in the Bay Area, decided to have a little fun with it and said his name was “Steph Curry”.

The video cuts off after that and we’re not sure what happened next, but even the fan admits they didn’t find out he wasn’t Curry until way after the Chipotle visit.
