The Golden State Warriors have won 10 in a row on the road and they tried to make it 11 against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies have the second best record in the West and will be looking to give the Dubs their third loss of the season.
Unfortunately, the Warriors were without Andrew Bogut and they really needed the big man against this front line.
1st Quarter
Both teams looked a bit tentative at first, but they got it going soon thereafter. Zack Randolph got some quick buckets in the point and that’s where you miss Bogut. The Warriors looked good on offense, but so did the Grizzlies. This game was shaping up to be a close one throughout. Nine lead changes in the first nine minutes. Marreese Speights came on strong late in the quarter, his jumper was falling and spreading out the floor. Defensively, the Grizzlies were having trouble keeping up with the Warriors, but Dubs had trouble with their front line. Marc Gasol led the Grizzlies with 10 points and Harrison Barnes finished with 9 after beating the buzzard. The Warriors took a 30-24 lead into the second quarter.

2nd Quarter
The Grizzlies came out strong to start the second quarter and quickly erased the Warrior lead. The second unit of Memphis really took advantage of the Warriors and a thanks to a Vince Carter three point shot, the Grizzlies took a two point lead. Carter single handedly gave the Grizzlies a 10 point lead with three consecutive 3-pointers. A 16-0 run for Memphis to start the second quarter and it only took 2 minutes. The Warriors missed 11 shots in a row and the Grizzlies extended their lead to 14. Steph Curry checked back into the game and the Dubs finally ended the drought by hitting two shots in a row. Carter was looked like the 24 year old version of himself. Everything was going wrong for the Warriors, but in the final minutes of the quarter, they turned it up another gear. The Grizzlies took a 57-49 lead into halftime.

3rd Quarter
The Grizzlies picked up where they left off and quickly built up their lead to double digits. The Grizzlies looked energetic and you could tell they really wanted to win this game. The Warriors continued to struggle making baskets and only managed to score four points in the first four minutes and half. The Grizzlies were just too strong inside the paint, Randolph had a great third quarter, which helped the Grizzlies maintain their lead. The Warriors showed flashes, but could not get closer than than 6-8 points. The Grizzlies took a 80-69 lead into the final period.

4th Quarter
I sounds like a broken record player, but the Grizzlies come out strong again to start the quarter. However, the Warriors still had some life in them. Back to back 3-pointers from Klay and Iggy cut the Memphis lead to four. Sloppy play prevented the Warriors scoring in transition, and the Grizzlies scored on the other end. The Dubs finally cut the lead to 2 after some nice buckets from Livingston and Curry. The Grizzlies then responded with a 7-0 run an only two minutes were left in the game. The Warriors had their chances, but could never take the lead. You can’t win them all, the Warriors lose.
