3rd Quarter
The Warriors begin the third quarter by trading buckets with Cody Zeller. Everytime the Warriors looked to inch closer, the Hornets somehow had an answer. Thompson’s wide open missed dunk which resulted in a Gerald Henderson jumper has been the best way to sum up the night. At the end of three the “Splash Brothers” were an icy 12-37 from the field. In a tough quarter, the Warriors were down 80-74 behind Steph and Klay’s 14 points.

4th Quarter
Mo Speights’ scored his 20th and 21st points on a mid-range jumper and brought the Warriors to within two points at 84-86. Curry reentered at the 6:36 mark. Just like the Oklahoma City Thunder game, the Warriors leaned on Speight’s energy and scoring. Speights had the first sixteen Warriors points in the fourth and took the lead on a beautiful reverse layup. Thompson’s transition three point make ended Speights’ run but extended the Warriors lead to 93-88.
