The Golden Warriors are led by Stephen Curry to take on the Charlotte Hornets. After a tightly contested first quarter, the Hornets got hot in the second and took the lead. 1st Quarter
The Warriors drew first blood off a Stephen Curry and Andrew Bogut pick and roll but began slowly as the Hornets rushed out to an early 8-5 lead. After missing his first four shots, Klay Thompson gets a jumper to fall. The game has been a slow half court pace which favored the Hornets. Golden State kept the defensive pressure up and forced the Hornets to go on a five minute scoreless drought. At the end of the first the Warriors led the Hornets 28-24.

2nd Quarter
The bench began the second quarter with a Livingston, Barnes, Rush, Iguodala, Speights, lineup. The starters came back on the floor with a one point defecit behind the Hornets’ hot shootng. Iggy got on the board with a three pointer to extend the lead to 41-37. Steph was forced to sit after picking up his third foul. The Hornets were scorching hot and outscored the Warriors 31-21 in the second period alone. The Warriors trailed 55-49 at the half.
