The Golden State Warriors will look to grab lucky number 13. Already winning 12 straight, the Dubs will face the World Champions in San Antonio. The Warriors have created a big enough cushion to clinch home court advantage throughout the postseason. Nobody will be resting as both teams are boasting most of their regular lineups. Shaun Livingston will be sitting out and serving his one game suspension.
1st Quarter
The Warriors struggled offensively to start the game and the Spurs got off to an early 6-1 lead. The San Antonio crowd was into the game from the start and the Spurs were feeding off of it. The Warriors looked discombobulated, but they finally were able to hit a few buckets, but the Spurs were doing the same. Midway through the quarter the Spurs kept putting the ball in the hole and the Warriors had only scored seven points. The Spurs had a 20-7 lead and things were getting out of hand fast. The Warriors couldn’t keep up with the Spurs, which is shocking to say. This is not the Dubs team we are used to seeing. The Spurs dominated this quarter and the Warrior offense was non-existent. San Antonio took a 31-17 lead into the second quarter.

2nd Quarter
The second unit was in the game and the shooting woes continued. The Spurs looked unstoppable offensively and the Warriors looked helpless. Leandro Barbosa tried keeping the team alive with a couple buckets, but the Warrior defense could not slow down San Antonio. The lead grew to 18 and the Warriors looked like they didn’t belong. Steve Kerr brought his starters back into the game midway through the quarter. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson started knocking down shots and the lead was down to 13. It was a 9-2 run for the Dubs, but the Spurs came right back and went up by 21, the largest lead of the game. Steve Kerr might rest his starters in the second half, that’s how bad it has been.

3rd Quarter
The Spurs did not let up in the second half, they started the second half and kept scoring the rock. Curry started feeling it a little bit, but the Spurs always had an answer. The Spurs looked comfortable with a 21 point lead, but Curry was relentless. He scored 13 in a row and the Warriors had some life. Kawhi Leonard destroyed any hope of a comeback with some clutch plays on both ends of the floor. The Spurs had the better game and simply wanted it more. The Warriors had some chances throughout the quarter to climb back into this game, but the Spurs were the better team today. The deficit was 22 at the end of the quarter.

4th Quarter
The final period began with the second unit on the floor and at this point, there was no reason to bring back the starters. Greg Popovich still had some starters and they made sure no miraculous comeback was possible. A rare bad game for the Warriors. They have nothing to play for, but the Spurs crushed their soul. Steph Curry was the only starter who showed up today, he finished with 24 points.
This just in: Warriors could lose by 50 tonight and still be the top seed in the League. #Perspective
