2nd Quarter
The scoring picked up for both teams in the second quarter and that’s with both teams having their second unit on the floor. After getting into early foul trouble, Draymond Green was out there with the second unit and he did not miss a beat. Ryan Anderson and Alexis Ajinca valiantly tried to bring the Pelicans back, they combined for 12 points in the first six minutes of the quarter. The Warriors had a more balanced attack and they brought back the Splash Bros after resting them for the first half of the quarter. Davis led the Pelicans on a run to cut the lead to three points. The Warriors responded with a 5-0 run and the lead was back to eight. Curry then ended the half with three straight triples, giving the Warriors a 55-43 lead going into the break.

3rd Quarter
The Warriors struggled to score to start the second half and the Pelicans took advantage. New Orleans took advantage and went on a 9-0 run thanks to Omer Asik and Davis. The crowd was back into it and the Pelicans were in control. Another Asik basket cut the lead to two, but more importantly it gave Bogut his fourth foul. It took four minutes for the Dubs to get on the board, but it was too late, the Pelicans were able to tie the game. Both teams exchanged a series of triples and Pelicans led by one. Mo Buckets score six in a row and the Warriors were back up, but the Pelicans fought right back. The last few minutes of the quarter was just a struggle defensively, both teams were scoring at will.

4th Quarter
The Pelicans were soaring in the fourth quarter. They scored six points in the first two minutes and they had a five point lead. It looked like the Pelicans were in control and the Warriors couldn’t quite get over the hump. The Pelicans kept scoring and the crowd was loving it. Thompson had been struggling all game long, but he hit a triple with about four minutes left in the quarter that cut the deficit to one. Back to back baskets from Curry and Bogut gave the Warriors a three point lead, but New Orleans came storming back. Davis got a bucket and the foul, but the Warriors weren’t done yet. Curry hit a three to tie the game with less than a minute left. A terrible call by the refs gave Evans two free throws, but he only made one. The Warriors had the ball with 15.5 seconds and it was going to be either win or lose. Curry missed a floater and the Warriors were now down 3 after two Davis free throws. Curry couldn’t hit a triple with time winding down and they lose 103-100.
