NBA: New Orleans Pelicans at Golden State Warriors

3rd Quarter

Draymond Green was quiet in the first half, but opened the third with a triple. The Splash Brother were playing well and you can tell they really want this game. The Warriors just look like themselves and they are clearly the better team. The Pelicans can’t keep up with the Warriors on offense and they had trouble hitting the three point shot. The Splash Bros were in the zone and they kept finding each other. The Warriors’ lead went up to 19 and the game was starting to get ugly for the Pelicans. Turnovers by the dubs gave the Pelicans some energy and they went on a 7-0 run. The Warriors don’t close strong and the Pelicans cut the lead to 80-66. Curry and Thompson with 16 a piece.

4th Quarter

The second unit once again come out firing on all cylinders to start the quarter. Barnes hit two buckets, including a slam dunk thanks to a Livingston dish. The Blur showed he still had some juice in those legs and attacked the basket and got easy lay-up. This second unit is dangerous, if they can keep it up, the Warriors will be in great shape come playoff time. This Anthony Davis kid is special and will be a force to be reckoned with for a long time. While the Pelicans’ threat was minor, Kerr kept his starters on the floor and Curry picked up his game down the stretch.  Warriors got their lead up to 20 points and at this point they were just having fun at that point.
