The Warriors will need to steer the ship in the opposite direction and get back on the winning track. In order to do so, they would have to do it against the Brooklyn Nets. Like the Warriors, the Nets are coming off a disappointing loss which occurred with a sloppy second half against the Suns. Unless these teams meet in the finals, this would be Brooklyn’s only visit to the Oracle in an early season showdown.
1st Quarter
Both the Warriors and Nets looked good early on. Then the game stalled after a few fouls by both teams, but the Nets got it going and found themselves with a six point lead after going on a 10-2 run. The Warriors could not find the basket, but Draymond Green hit back to back three point shots and Harrison Barnes followed with one of his own and the game was tied at 20. The game really started to pick up, but just when you thought the Warriors would get a nice lead, the Nets kept coming back. Barnes and Green were active in the game and Steph Curry continued to struggle from long distance.

2nd Quarter
The bench gave the starters sufficient rest when they overcame a four point deficit and actually gave the Warriors a two point lead. Draymond is showing off his offensive game, sinking mid range jumpers, threes, and easy layups. The team is sharing the rock; four players (Barnes, Green, Curry, and Barbosa) have three assists each. Iguodala finally got a basket plus the foul shot to fall to end his drought. The starters took the momentum and began to stretch the lead by pushing the pace. Thompson drew a foul with 0.6 seconds to go and made one of two free throws. The extra energy gave the Warriors a 66-55 lead; the Dubs outscored the Nets 34-19.
