3rd Quarter
Draymond Green knocks down a jumper to start the quarter and the Warriors grab the lead. After that, both teams started trading baskets, but Steph Curry looked like a man on a mission. He single handedly took over this game. With half of the third quarter remaining, Curry was already at 24 points. Shawne Williams brought the Heat back into the game with a couple of three point buckets of his own. The Warriors are getting into some foul trouble, but more importantly they are bailed out the Heat and gave them easy points. However, Curry was relentless and was scoring at will. After three quarters, the Warriors were up 91-86.
4th Quarter
The Warriors needed to close out the Heat and not let them hang around. The Heat had other plans. After a Shaun Livingston bucket, the Warriors once again went cold. With Curry on the bench, the Warriors could not score the ball and allowed the Heat to take the lead. The Heat went on a 11-2 run and Curry quickly checked back in. All the momentum was with the Heat, the Warriors needed to execute down the stretch to get this win. Andre Iguodala couldn’t stay out of foul trouble and picked up his 5th foul midway through the fourth, which also negated a Klay Thompson 3. The Warriors turned up the heat (pun intended) in the final minutes and went on a 11-0 run and it was mostly because of Curry. This was a one point game and all of sudden the Warriors were up by 12 with two and a half minutes left in the game. The game was over at that point and the fans headed for the exits. Steph Curry was incredible and fought for this victory. He finished with 40 points.
