The Warriors were in South Beach to take on the Miami Heat in their second game of the five game road-trip. The Heat were without their star Dwyane Wade for the seventh straight game, but they’ve won their last two games and were looking to use their crowd to get a win at home.
The Warriors continue to play without David Lee, but at least they had Leandro Barbosa and Andrew Bogut after both were questionable. The Warriors are the better team on paper, but the Heat have some experienced players on their roster. This game promised to be fun to watch.

1st Quarter
The Splash Brothers got involved early and scored five quick points. Four different Warriors score in the first three minutes and they easily build a six point lead. The ball movement continues to impress. The Heat were also trying to playing uptempo, but that seems to favor the Warriors. Chris Bosh was active for the Heat early on and had 7 points with a little less than six minutes remaining. The Heat got some momentum with Bosh’s back-to-back baskets and were able to tie the game. The Warriors went a bit cold and found themselves making dumb fouls. The tables turned for the Dubs, the Warriors got hot and they built a nine point lead. Mario Chalmers killed the Warriors with 10 points. The Warriors give up 36 points in the first quarter and find themselves down by 6.
2nd Quarter
The Warriors looked a bit more focused in the second quarter. They came in much stronger in the defensive end. Harrison Barnes had a solid 1st quarter and he continued to make buckets early on in the quarter. The Warriors tried to get back into the game, but the Heat were playing some good basketball. The Heat are 6 for 9 from beyond the arc, which helped them build a double digit lead with over six minutes left in the half. Nothing seems to be going right for the Warriors, the Heat torched them offensively and they can’t generate much offense as well. After being down by 16, two threes by the Splash Brothers brought the lead down to 10. The Warriors found life at the end of the quarter led by Curry and they went on a 14-4 run.
