The Golden State Warriors are back in Memphis with the opportunity to close out the series. With the 3-2 advantage, going home to the Oracle wouldn’t be the worst situation but it would be ideal to grab some rest. The Warriors have looked great in the last two games; it’ll be important to see if the Grizzlies can readjust to the Warriors’ counters. The Splash Brothers have been much better and Draymond will need to be the emotional leader to propel the Warriors into the Western Conference Finals.
1st Quarter
The Warriors got off to an incredibly fast start. Steph Curry used a cross over to hit a nice jumper and Klay Thompson followed with a three. The Warriors went on a 9-1 run to start the game and the Memphis crowd was stunned. A Courtney Lee triple and jumper by Tony Allen, yes Allen actually hit a jumper to cut the lead to three. The Warriors responded with triples from the Splash Brothers to give them a nine point lead. Thompson added another three, his third of the game to put them up by 12. Curry was not going to be outdone and also hit a three, so it was a 15 point lead. The Splash Brothers were feeling it and it was officially raining in Memphis. With a little less than two minutes left, the Warriors had already scored 32 points and were up 15. A pair of Gasol free throws ended the quarter and the Warriors took a 13 point lead into the second.

2nd Quarter
The Grizzlies scored four quick points to start the quarter, so the lead for the Dubs were down to single digits. Livingston got a layup to put it back to 11, but the Grizzlies were definitely applying the pressure, but the Warriors responded well every time. Livingston was feeling it early on and had six points in the first four minutes. Vince Carter gave Memphis some life with six points off the bench and although the Warriors would score as well, it at least prevented the Warriors from blowing this game wide open. Draymond Green finally made his presence felt with about five minutes left and scored six quick points. Green kept being aggressive, which was necessary for them to match the Grizzlies’ scoring outburst. Thompson got a bucket and the foul to put the Warriors up by 13, but the Grizzlies scored four points to end the half to give the Dubs a nine point lead.
3rd Quarter
The Grizzlies came out clicking to start the quarter. Marc Gasol hit two straight buckets to immediately cut the lead to five. Steph Curry hit a three to bring it back to eight. The scoring stalled on both ends of the court, which favors the Grizzlies. The quarter was dragging, but Z-Bo hit two baskets to cut the deficit to three. The quarter was winding down and the Grizzlies looked poised to make a run. It was no longer double digits, but the Warriors could not any closer than three until about the four minute quarter. Jeff Green scored four points for the Grizzlies, which got it down to one. The Warriors responded with a barrage of three pointers from Andre Iguodala, which got the lead back to seven. A Koufus bucket got it five, but Steph Curry hot a 70 footer to end the quarter. He’s simply incredible. Warriors up 8.
4th Quarter
Before that miraculous shot from Curry, the Grizzlies had all the momentum and they were in danger of having to play an unpredictable game 7. But now the Warriors had all the momentum and it was a dramatic change of events. The Warriors opened up in the first two minutes with a 9-2 run and the lead was up to 15. The Grizzlies were able to get the lead down to 8 by the six minute mark, but Curry proved why he was the MVP once again. He hit three triples and a two pointer to take the lead to back to 11 when the Grizzlies were applying some pressure. The Warriors were able to hit some free throws down the stretch and the clock ran out. The Warriors advance, they beat the Grizzlies 108-95.
