3rd Quarter
The Kings got off to a fast start in the second half. They quickly got a 6-0 run and all of a sudden this was a game. However, the Warriors responded with a run of their own and now they were up 13 after three straight free throughs from Thompson. The Kings would use the next four minutes to slowly break down the lead. DeMarcus Cousins led the charge, he scored eight points and the lead was down to five. The Warriors responded and Klay Thompson took over. He scored and scored and scored. He went on to score an NBA record 37 points in a quarter. He went absolutely insane. Klay Thompson gave the fans at Oracle an absolute show and it was beautiful to watch. He hit triple after triple and the Warriors led 97-73.

4th Quarter
The Warriors carried the momentum from the third quarter and they continued to add to their lead. Klay Thompson cooled off a bit and he was given a standing ovation when he was given some time to rest. The Kings were out of this game and the Warriors just needed to coast for the rest of the quarter. Seven straight points from Marreese Speights gave the Warriors a 32 point lead. It was all a formality at this point, the Warriors were going to win this game. Both benches were emptied and the Warriors were on their way to their 35th win of the season. Is Klay Thompson an All-Star? This game answers it all!
