Scope the Opposition: A Wolf Among Wolves.
Preview: The Golden State Warriors (3-1) opened up their four-game road trip with a victory over the previously undefeated Philadelphia 76ers (3-1) and will face off tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves (3-1).
The Wolves just played back-to-back road games and split the contests. They earned themselves a victory at Madison Square Garden over the New York Knicks (1-3), but lost the following night against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Wolves and Warriors sport identical records but Golden State has been a bit more impressive. They have blown out their opponents in three victories and currently have a plus-12.8 scoring differential. That is the best in the league so far in this young season.
Stephen Curry had been uncharacteristically sloppy with the ball the start out the season, but he rectified things a little in Philadelphia by only coughing up the ball once.
Fun stats to track: Through four games, Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves is attempting seven treys per game. On the visiting team, Stephen Curry is launching nine treys per game in as many games as Love so far this year.
Harrison Barnes watch: Harrison Barnes is a game-time decision for tonight’s game.
