The Warriors knew they had to cut several players with the NBA season approaching, but it’s a difficult process with so many talented players on the roster. Players like James Michael McAdoo and Aaron Craft have potential to be formidable NBA players, but the Warriors only had one roster spot open. Jason Kapono gave it a shot, but was also waived. Ultimately, the Warriors decided on Justin Holiday, who earned a place on the team by playing great at the Summer League and training camp. The University of Washington product has all the tools you can ask for and has worked hard to finally find his place in the NBA.
