His rebounding success shouldn’t be surprising as Lee has continued to show a willingness to make the extra effort. The most consistent Warriors player showed again why he is the team’s MVP up to this point. |

A terrible night for Dorell has many Warriors fans clamoring for his demotion in favor of the rising Klay Thompson. Can you blame them? Dorell has fought through his early season struggles, but the play of Thompson can’t be overlooked. If Dorell’s sloppy play continues don’t be surprised to see the rookie make his first NBA start this season. |

Andris Biedrins, C 16 MIN | 2-2 FG | 0-0 FT | 3 REB | 1 AST | 4 PTS | -10
We’re never going to get typical starting center numbers from Andris, so I grade his performance’s accordingly. Active hands, forcing extra possessions and even scoring some points are all positives from tonight. The negatives: Gortat killed Andris off the pick and roll and post up situations. It’s clear Mark Jackson prefers Ekpe Udoh, it’s just a wonder why Biedrins is still starting. In the battle of Poland vs. Latvia, Poland won with ease. |

Monta Ellis, SG 38 MIN | 5-20 FG | 6-6 FT | 7 REB | 3 AST | 18 PTS | +1
Monta couldn’t have started the game any worse: he missed his first nine shots and was 2/12 in the first half. Monta played slightly better in the second half, but 5-20 from the field isn’t going to cut it. Most of Monta’s struggles have to do with the defensive effort of ol’ reliable Grant Hill. |

Stephen Curry, PG 32 MIN | 3-10 FG | 2-2 FT | 7 REB | 5 AST | 9 PTS | +2
After a slow 1st quarter it looked like Curry was turning it around. Then, as soon as you can say Sarunas Marciulionis, Curry’s left ankle landed awkwardly on Michael Redd’s foot and Warriors fans collectively shook their heads. He was able to return in the 4th quarter and channeled his inner Carmelo Anthony: shooting early in the shot clock, turning the ball over and missing most of his shots. Still, the fact Curry was able to return and grab some key rebounds was a plus. |

Three Things We Saw
- Great minutes from Ekpe Udoh tonight. The stat line will never be mind-blowing but Udoh could care less. His defensive presence and improved passing is desperately needed in the frontcourt. Despite what Coach Jackson says, Udoh is far and away the team’s best interior defender. His sweet lefty hook iced the game for the Warriors tonight.
- The Suns are no way an elite team but coming off a back to back this was an impressive performance from the young Warriors squad. The win gave the team its first three game win streak of the season heading into Wednesday night’s national home matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers.
- Sebastian Telfair, Michael Redd and Josh Childress on the floor at the same time — I thought we’d never see this glorious day.
