It feels just like yesterday that the NBA season ended.
Well, with the lockout extending the season a bit, then free agency kicking into gear, followed by the NBA-riddled lineup Team USA trotted out at the Olympics, it quite literally did almost end yesterday.
And now here we are – three weeks away from training camp and the start of what should be another exciting NBA year.
For Warriors fans, there is plenty to look forward to including the offseason additions of Jarrett Jack and Carl Landry as well as (hopefully) a full season of a healthy Andrew Bogut. Along with all of that, fans are undoubtedly excited for the return to the hardwood of the “Baby Faced Assassin” himself, Stephen Curry.
The majority of fans will have to wait until October 31st to see how Curry and his new ankle look but for those who can’t wait that long, an opportunity to see Steph up close and personal is fast approaching.
On September 22-23, Steph and his dad Dell will be hosting the “Dell & Stephen Curry Father & Son Basketball ProCamp” at St. Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco.
The camp is open to boys, ages 7-18 and their fathers; and focuses on the team concept and fundamentals of basketball. The Currys will be giving daily talks highlighting the finer points of the game of basketball and beyond.
Each camper is set to receive an autographed camp team photo with Steph and Dell, an exclusive camp t-shirt, a goodie bag, as well as the opportunity to win additional father/son contests and prizes.
For more information on the camp, including pricing, visit www.stephencurryprocamp.com or by calling 888-389-CAMP (2267).
Father and son basketball camp–how cute!! I wonder if little brother Seth got invited too.
