Game 2 of the NBA Finals is a couple hours away and the Warriors will be looking to get another step closer to securing their second title in three years. After a comfortable victory in Game 1, expect the Cavs to come into this game hungry to compete and regain some of their confidence back.
Rest assured that LeBron will be a bigger factor in this game and don’t be surprised if this game is much closer than the betting line in Vegas. However, the Warriors have a secret weapon up their sleeve.
According to Chris Haynes of the ESPN, Steve Kerr will not only return to coach in Game 2, but will be with the team for the rest of the Finals:
Steve Kerr says his intentions are to coach the rest of the Finals. Said he decided to give it a go this morning.

The Warriors have been playing extremely well in Kerr’s absence, but having your coach back is definitely a positive boost for this team. All the players know the pain the pain Kerr has been enduring with his back issues, so it will be great to see him back on the sidelines with the rest of his team.
As far as the game plan is concerned, that shouldn’t change much given how well Kerr and Mike Brown have worked together while he was out. Of course Kerr will now be the one responsible for making the in-game decisions, but he’s been here before and the players have the utmost confidence in their fearless leader.
With Kerr now in the picture, this team is poised to win another championship, but first they have to take care of Game 2.
If true, wow! Congratulations, Coach Kerr!
