The Warriors have announced their preseason schedule, and it’s filled with some unique games to serve as a warmup before the regular season.
The Warriors will play 7 games total, and 3 of which will be considered home games, although not all of those 3 games will be played at Oracle Arena.
San Jose will host one of those games at the SAP Center. The Warriors are truly the Bay Area’s team, so it’s nice that the South Bay gets to welcome them for a game.
Each of the home games will feature bobblehead giveaways. The game at SAP Center will feature a bobblehead of Klay Thompson wearing a San Jose Sharks sweater. It’s a creative way to incorporate SAP Center’s usual professional sports team into the event.
Stephen Curry and Draymond Green will get their bobbleheads handed out at the games at Oracle. Curry’s will feature him holding his two MVP awards, and Green’s will be of him in his flexing pose.
The Warriors will also play road games in Denver, Vancouver, Las Vegas, and San Diego to tune up before the regular season.
The Harlem Globetrotters attended the San Francisco Giants game on Wednesday, and team member Shane Christensen raved about how Curry would be perfect as a Globetrotter.
It makes a lot of sense. Curry has unrivaled range, hits trick shots, and has some of the best dribbling ability in the NBA.
The Globetrotters might have to wait for Curry to be finished with his NBA career before they give him a tryout, though. He’s a little preoccupied trying to win more championships for the Warriors.
