After a very eventful offseason, the Warriors have announced their preseason schedule in the annual attempt to not only get players ready for the regular season, but quench fans’ thirst for professional basketball.
Their preseason schedule will consist of 7 games. 2 of those games will be played at Oracle Arena, and 1 will be played at the SAP Center. Those 3 will be considered their home games.
Each of those games will feature bobblehead giveaways for the first 10,000 fans in attendance.
Stephen Curry Bobblehead night will be on October 4th at Oracle against the Clippers. The bobblehead will feature Curry holding his two MVP trophies.
For the game on October 6th at SAP Center, the bobblehead will be a nice ode to both the Warriors and the Sharks. It will feature Klay Thompson wearing a Sharks sweater.
For the game on October 21st at Oracle, it will be Draymond Green bobblehead night. Green’s bobblehead will feature him doing his flexing pose.

There’s a few notable road games that the Warriors will play during this preseason, too. They open their schedule on October 1st against the Toronto Raptors in Vancouver.
The NBA officially left Vancouver when the Grizzlies relocated to Memphis after the 2000-2001 season.
This game should hopefully draw the displaced fans in British Columbia who unfortunately lost their franchise years ago.

On October 15th, the Warriors play the Lakers in Las Vegas. The city is preparing for professional sports with an NHL team set to begin play at T-Mobile Arena in the Fall of 2017. T-Mobile Arena is hosting this game between the Warriors and Lakers.
Just 4 days later on October 19th, the Warriors will have a rematch with the Lakers, but this time in San Diego at the Valley View Casino Center, which was the home of the Clippers back when they played in San Diego.
The only game I haven’t mentioned is the October 14 game against the Nuggets in Denver at the Pepsi Center. Nothing too unusual about this game, but playing in the high elevation of that city is always a bit of a challenge.
It looks like an exciting preseason schedule, which is always a nice appetizer before the regular season begins.
